The carpets in our house had gotten progressively dingier
and duller over the years and after cleaning old spots came back in about two
weeks EVERY time. The problem is water. When you combine water with dirt you
get mud which is why carpets get progressively duller and dingier every time
they are cleaned. The problem with recurring spots is called
"wicking". Although a stain initially appears to be gone after
cleaning, it reappears as the carpet dries and brings the old stain back to the
surface. Thus, I put together a method of carpet cleaning that uses no heat and
very little water. THE RESULTS: My carpets looked GREAT and did not need
replacement. I then cleaned my neighbor's carpets. His comments were, “I cannot
remember my carpets ever looking this good. I cannot believe how dry the
carpets are." and, "Larry, you have to do this for other
people." Only then did I know that I had truly discovered a better way to
clean carpets. Thus, GoDry Carpet Cleaning was born.
