You've just returned from a swim or a shower. Do you ever have plugged ears? Are the audio distorted? It's possible that you have water in your ears.
Wearing earbuds might even cause moisture to get caught in your ears. If you don't treat it right away, you could get otitis externa, often known as swimmer's ear. When water lingers in your ear canal for an extended period of time, bacteria that are already present might grow and develop an infection.
However, you must safely remove the water. If you do it incorrectly, you may increase your chances of developing swimmer's ear. If you have a ruptured eardrum or tubes in your ears, you must dry your ears with extreme caution.
